I have been lacking color in my crochet lately. Do you ever find yourself in this bind? Let’s review the last few projects:
Here we have examples of my work, the colors are off white, black and white, black and off white (don’t let the shirt underneath fool you, this won’t be part of the piece), and grey. What is up with me? I seriously love color, orange is my favorite and I naturally gravitate to jeweled variegated yarn, but lately I’ve been in a rut, a blah, blah black (and white and grey) sheep rut.
Soooooo, next month I am going to dedicate Fridays to exploring color in crochet. What colors work together, how to read a color wheel (and if you know, tell me ;), what colors make you feel good and what they might represent.
We can explore many avenues on this topic, but I want to know what YOU want to read about. What crochet pieces would you like a tutorial on? I have been thinking of making some items for the home, but are there any other projects you’d like to see? I cannot wait to start talking about color, and I hope you are excited too!
It’s a holiday weekend in the U.S., but I hope everyone around the world has a wonderful weekend and spends a little time doing what they love.
Happy Crocheting!
