Hello!  Hope everyone is having a good start to their week!  As usual, our week started off with spilt milk, we didn’t cry though, we cleaned it up and started our day.  Thanks, dear readers, for letting me share some of my life with you the last few weeks.  My family is changing with the seasons, and it hasn’t been easy for all of us.  Thanks for letting me voice it out over the blogosphere.

Now, back to crochet.  Life always comes back to crochet, doesn’t it? Well, my life does, anyway.  I have a pattern for you.  I have been crazily making ear warmers for my upcoming craft fair and to donate to MPTV Mittens and More.  For those of you who would like to donate, please check out the link.  And for those of you who would like an adorable ear warmer all for yourself, please check out the super simple pattern below!

Row 28 – 37:  Repeat row 27, bind off on last row and weave in ends.

img_5124Notes:  I carried my colors from row to row, so that I wouldn’t have to weave so many ends in.

This pattern creates an ear warmer that is 20.5 in long, with a 3 in give; and it is 5 in wide.  The button is adjustable to fit most heads.

Please check out my Etsy shop for more headbands like this!

Also, I got this increase and decrease technique from DaPerfect Mix.  She has a really nice tutorial, and I encourage you to take a look.

I plan to do more tutorials now that the cooler weather is here.  Please let me know if you have questions on the pattern, and as always, Happy Crocheting!
