“To everything (turn, turn, turn)

There is a season (turn, turn, turn)”

I live in a part of the world where there are predictible seasons, the change in air is so noticeable that you know something else is coming (whether you want it or not).  Just as the air turned from humid to crisp, my daughter walked to her first day of “real” school, I started looking for a “real” job, and my family started doing the fall organizing that we didn’t do in the Spring.

Walking to school.

It started with getting the toys out of the living room (Ha! does that ever happen?).  One thing led to another, and I decided to move out of the house (Ah! NO!).  I mean, I moved out of the room my hubby and I shared as an office and created my own craft space in the basement.  I have A LOT of craft supplies; they were spread out in a few different areas of the house and I never realized how much stuff I have accumulated.  Now I know where I spend my money!

My craft area.

The thing is, I am so excited to have a space of my own to create, to escape to, to be all mine.  I think my hubby is just as excited to have more office space, he even brought up his turn table so he could listen to tunes while he works.  I guess everyone covets a little room of one’s own.

The weather is turning cooler, we are looking to find our own space indoors.  Let’s hope its a long Fall full of creative and prosperous endeavors!  Best Wishes in the season ahead!
