Last Friday my family and I embarked on our yearly trip to the Wisconsin State Fair. I have to say, out of all the festivals we attend, and there are many, this is the most fun for everyone. My hubby usually takes off a day, so that we don’t have to deal with weekend crowds, and we leave early and park on someone’s front lawn for $5. An early morning ensures that we can walk onto the big slide, eat a cream puff, and walk through some of the vendors before the swarms of people crowd the streets.
It was rainy, last Friday, so the attendance was low, even though the drizzle felt nice against the muggy air. Before we left, I made sure we visited the art and craft pavilion. Here are some photos of the winners!
