I am not feeling very lovey today. And frankly this post is supposed to be about hearts and Valentine’s Day and cheery cheeries. There is so much to crochet for this holiday, after all, and yet, I am just in the mood to curl up with cheese puffs and watch a good action flick. Maybe by Sunday I’ll come around. Otherwise, here are some projects any crocheter can do to get in the Valentine’s Day mood.
Just looking at these pictures is brightening my mood…
These hearts are the size of a nickel. The pattern can be found here. I think they make awesome Valentine’s Heart Studs.
If you don’t want to make your own, I sell these and smaller versions (about the size of a dime) here.
I also love this heart hair clip. I am not selling this right now, but if I make any more of these hearts I might make them as patches and appliqués instead of barrettes.
I hope these hearts have “let [you] count the ways” you can celebrate Valentine’s Day with crochet. I know I feel a little more in the mood to create ;).
Happy Crocheting!
Cute hearts!!
